Mill Cove Partners is a partnership formed by David Brewbaker and Michelle Lewis. We have combined our experience and expertise in digital marketing to help businesses leverage the use of the most exciting and effective aspects of today’s interactive media.

Michelle Lewis, SEO/SEM Specialist, Writer, Content Developer

Michelle is an SEO/SEM strategist who offers digital marketing solutions to B2C and B2B companies and provides support to media companies and advertising agencies. She has spent 15 years as a writer, editor, columnist, content developer and search engine marketer. She has led numerous content development and editorial projects and has contributed to the success of many businesses through content-driven strategies. Michelle has managed paid search advertising campaigns and provided site analytics and reporting to a wide variety of organizations and e-commerce companies. She has also served as a blog developer and writer and a member of social marketing teams for her clients and the agencies that serve them. As partner and co-owner of Mill Cove Partners, LLC, Michelle serves as SEO strategist, manages monthly advertising budgets for clients using the Google platform, and helps nonprofit agencies leverage their Google Grant funds. She holds a M.F.A. in writing and is a Google Certified Partner. Michelle continues to maintain her site, White Chicken, which focuses on poetics, criticism and journalism.

 

David Brewbaker, Digital Strategist, Designer, Musician

David Brewbaker is an experienced digital strategist, web designer and musician/songwriter. In 1992 he established a freelance graphic design business in Portland that served clients for four years. In 1996 he joined the staff of Swardlick Marketing Group, one of the leading agencies in Maine, where he worked for the next fourteen years, the last seven as Director of Digital Marketing.

During his “digital tenure” David had the opportunity to work with national and international clients in many roles including web designer, creative director, digital strategist, online media planner and project manager. This broad range of experience led to a sizable portfolio of work in the food marketing, higher education and tourism practices. A sampling of clients projects includes: The Cheeses of France, Dole Foods, Wild Blueberry Association, Mott’s, Produce for Better Health/5 A Day, Maine Office of Tourism, Bentley University and Maine Turnpike Authority

In addition to his work in the marketing and online world, Brewbaker has worked as a professional guitarist and songwriter. He spent many years performing on stage and in clubs around New York, Colorado, California and New Mexico and has also worked as a composer of jingles, industrial music and documentary films. His work includes writing and recording with the late producer Norman Petty of Buddy Holly fame, and he studied with guitarists Jack Wilkins, John Scofield and Steve Kahn. In November, 2009 he released A Sign of Life, a full-length album of original tunes. Most recently he collaborated with Leighton Images on a TV spot for the Maine Roller Derby team.

Composing and recording is done at Off Road Music Studio located adjacent to the Mill Cove Partners office in West Bath, Maine.
